JOB TITLE: Data Protection Solicitor

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
One of the leading providers of legal services to the public sector is currently looking to recruit a specialist Data Protection Solicitor to advise clients on a broad range of information law matters. You will be required to deal with enquires and issues relating to GDPR, subject access requests, freedom of information and personal data breaches. This is an exceptional opportunity for the successful Data Protection Solicitor to really carve out a niche in this area, working alongside a leaders in this field.

REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be either a Solicitor or Barrister with experience advising on data protection and information law. It would be an advantage if you have previously worked for clients within the healthcare, housing or public sector. It is essential that the appointed Data Protection Solicitor is able to hit the ground running and, to some extent, work fairly independently. There is scope for advocacy as part of the role and any previous experience of advocacy is welcomed.

PACKAGE:
