This exceptional City commercial litigation practice is looking to recruit a senior knowledge lawyer to join its successful team.
The role will have a particular focus on raising the team’s profile by providing thought leadership and commentary on trends and policy issues. The role will also include internal facing aspects, such as training and education, knowledge management and dealing with fee earner queries.
The litigation practice undertakes a broad range of litigation and arbitration work, including financial services and regulatory issues and investigations, corporate and commercial disputes, trust and probate litigation, major construction disputes, fraud, corporate crime and cross border disputes, and real estate litigation.
The role will operate alongside the firm’s existing knowledge lawyer for the contentious practice and report to the practice head and the business development manager in profile raising activities.
The role will suit a lawyer with a strong background in English law disputes arising out of the use of technology (e.g. cyber-attacks, cyber fraud, data breaches, crypto assets, artificial intelligence, smart contracts and decentralised finance). Knowledge or experience of regulatory investigations and disputes involving financial institutions would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Applications from those seeking a part-time position or those full-time are welcome.
