JOB TITLE: Court of Protection Lawyer (Contract)
PQE REQUIRED: 0-3+ PQE
LOCATION: West Midlands region
SALARY: from £32,000- £46,000 DOE
THE ROLE:
This is an exciting new role, the chance to join this well-regarded firm and high performing Court of Protection team. The role will include working closely with partners and directors across the team to deliver the high-quality service to clients that this firm is known for. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients and family members within the context of the Mental Capacity Act and other legislation. Areas of work will also include trust management, statutory wills, and welfare deputyship applications. This role is a 6-9-month maternity cover role, however for the right Solicitor, this role may become permanent. This role is based at the firms Head Office based within the West Midlands region.
THE CANDIDATE:
The Court of Protection Solicitor must have a minimum of 1 PQE and be experienced with handling a full caseload of court of protection matters. However, the firm would also be interested in hearing from NQ Solicitors wanting to gain a career in this area of law. You should be hardworking and empathetic as this role will involve a lot of contact with the families of vulnerable people. You should be able to travel into the office based within the West Midlands region. The firm are currently accepting applications from NQ Solicitors, so if you are newly qualified and looking to get into Court of Protection- please apply!
