THE ROLE:
This highly regarded corporate team provides practical advice to businesses large and small from the UK and around the globe. The team advises businesses of all sizes as well as management teams, shareholders, investors and lenders. They guide their clients through the transaction process from initial start-up to growth and development transactions, whether by equity or debt funding, acquisition or joint venture, reorganisation or restructuring, disposal via sale, listing or buyout and help them to achieve their goals in a calm, clear and pragmatic way. The firm’s clients cover a broad spectrum of industry sectors but are predominantly in the technology, private wealth, life sciences, property, retail and fashion sectors. A significant proportion of the work they do has an international element.

THE CANDIDATE:
This leading, Cambridge based, corporate team is looking to hire an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join the team. The team has particular strengths in acting for university spin-outs and other venture capital backed companies. Given the team’s focus, experience of venture capital transactions is desirable. The team also has a strong M&A and corporate advisory practice advising a number of the UK’s most established international companies, larger owner-managed businesses and venture capital and private equity backed businesses. The role will offer the opportunity to develop a broad practice of good quality, challenging legal work, guided by Lawyers regarded as leaders in their field.
