Commercial/ IT Associate

We are working with one of the leading global law firms who are looking to add experienced Commercial/ IT lawyers to their practice in Manchester. This role will suit a qualified lawyer who has from newly qualified up to 4 years' post qualification experience.

The practice advises on a wide range of commercial and IT contracting matters across a range of sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the very best global law firms acting for FTSE 100 clients within their Commercial, Technology and Data team.

It will allow you to demonstrate your knowledge of commercial contract terms and the key legal, commercial and operational issues arising across commercial deals.

You will be working on day-to-day contracts, through to some of the most strategic and business critical contracts clients enter into.

This role will find you advising on:

• The procurement of goods and services- including supply agreements, distribution agreements and agency agreements,
• Providing support with respect to commercial and IT contracts in the context of corporate transactions,
• Multi-jurisdictional outsourcings,
• The procurement of IT goods and services- including IT outsourcing, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, and other commercial projects.

The role is wide ranging and guaranteed to challenge the most ambitious commercial lawyer who is ready for the next step up in their career.
