Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – Flexible Working – Full Time – Initial 3 months - On going contract – South London

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a successful, busy South London Local Authority in North London, who are recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment (35 hours), and will be offered for an ongoing contract, with the initial period 3-6 months and then extended on an ongoing basis.

This role is to be worked mostly remotely but required office presence for 2 days per week after July.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to become part of a successful Local Authority.

The ideal candidate will have prior residential experience working within Local Government; however, this is not essential, and CVs from candidates with established private practise solicitor experience will also be accepted.

The successful candidate will specifically be handling:

• Extensions
• Lease and license
• Landlord and tenant matters
• all asset management matters
• reporting on title
• acquisitions and disposals
• advice work on complex areas of law

The successful applicant will have a hard-working manner and enthusiastic attitude, as well as excellent technical skills.
