Corporate Governance Consultant/Co Sec Job- Bristol/Remote Working

Your new firm
This well-known employer are currently looking for a Corporate Governance/Compliance Consultant to join their Governance Services team in Bristol during a time of growth and transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a time of growth and transformation. This role will be based in Bristol however the team are currently working remotely and fully embrace flexible working; post-COVID there will be the opportunity for a mixture of both home and office working, therefore it is anticipated that you will live within commutable distance of Bristol.

Your new role
You will support the delivery of UK Managed Service client engagements, working on a portfolio of UK private limited companies to deliver statutory compliance requirements for UK Companies. This is a full time and permanent role; as a Governance Consultant you will support the delivery of managed service client engagements, predominantly the delivery of statutory compliance requirements for UK private limited companies, ensuring that the UK entities of global companies are compliant with the Companies Act 2006. You will advise domestic and international clients on UK compliance, governance and transaction related matters, maintain client relationships and develop and maintain subject matter technical knowledge and service delivery templates, processes, tools and materials. You will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives as and when required, for example suggesting improvements to the legal entity database and highlighting opportunities for greater efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 12 months of UK legal entity compliance, corporate administration or business administration experience within professional services or industry. Ideally you will have a desire to develop a wide range of UK compliance, governance and transaction related knowledge and experience.

You might be a Company Secretary Assistant, training for your ICSA qualification, or you might be an experienced administrator with a keen eye for detail looking for a new challenge in the legal/corporate governance world.

You will be experienced at building effective working relationships with clients and colleagues and will be organised with experience of delivering to tight deadlines. Advanced IT skills (incl. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and experience of using legal entity management technology would be desirable.
