Business Resilience Analyst

One of the world's most forward thinking and innovative Insurance companies has a unique opportunity to join their ultra modern Birmingham Office in this rare role as Business Resilience Analyst.

As a Business Resilience Analyst you will be responsible for the review and analysis of all the companies operational resilience and business continuity requirements ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and maintained.

You will be responsible for managing the companies operational resilience regulatory requirements across all areas of the business. You will ensure that this covers all aspects including information security practices in the event of a cyber breach through to the management of third party suppliers throughout the supply chain in the event of issues arising to their business. You will ensure that the company is able to operate as normal without effecting or having an impact on the customer experience.

You will be heavily involved in the resilience testing across the business where you will lead various workshops to review and document the resilience recovery options that are in place. It will be within your remit to maintain and develop the companies resilience database working closely with key stakeholders and preparing management information to present throughout the business.

You will Undertake reviews of key third-party suppliers, vendors and outsource providers to ensure that Operational Resilience controls are in place and requirements are being met. Working with the Procurement team to ensure the appropriate controls and measures are available to manage contracts and material outsource/supplier questionnaires.

To be considered you will ideally have experience within a similar environment with exposure to business resilience, preferably within a regulated financial services setting. Other sectors will also be considered. Experience within a Business Analyst or Compliance Analyst role will be strongly considered. Experience of Information Security concepts is also desirable but not essential.
