Contracts Lawyer

Locum Contracts Lawyer – 3 months initially – On going contract – Remote Working

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a successful, busy Local Authority, who are recruiting for a Contracts Lawyer to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment (37 hours), and will be offered for an ongoing contract, with the initial period 3 months and then extended every 3 months thereafter. The rate is negotiable, depending on experience, and remote working is being offered.  

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Contracts Lawyer to become part of a successful Local Authority. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with several years of recent local government experience. The successful candidate will have experience of JCT/NEC4 contracts and ideally District Council experience.

The successful contracts lawyer will be the only specialist within Legal Services undertaking contracts work and therefore someone who is knowledgeable and experienced is required, someone who can hit the ground running.

The successful applicant will also have a hard-working manner and enthusiastic attitude, as well as excellent technical skills.
