We are working with a well-known national law firm which works with private, public and third sector clients throughout the UK.
The Employment, Pensions and Immigration team advises the health and social care and local government sectors and continues to develop its profile and client base in emerging markets including the insurance and finance, commercial, education and housing sectors.
The team sits within the Litigation department which deals with substantial commercial and regulatory disputes. The Employment team primarily acts for employers, including national and multi-national organisations, supporting them to improve their employment practices and manage workforce issues, as well as defending employment litigation and seeking to mitigate risks for clients.
Our client is looking for an Associate offering 3-5 years PQE to join the Birmingham office. Working as part of a national team, you will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of national and regional based clients across the range of sectors.
You will work with a number of partner leads and colleagues across all of the firms’ offices and will be encouraged to build and develop your own caseload.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- UK qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Training from a respected regional of national law firm is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work alone or as part of a wider team and group
- Clear written skills
- Able to work effectively to tight schedules
