Locum Childcare Lawyer –South East England – 3 Months+ – Remote Working – up to £50 per hour (Umbrella)
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the South East England area who are recruiting for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their department.
This is a full-time position however candidates possessing relevant experience with part-time availability may also be considered. The role is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension and will be worked on a fully remote basis.
This opportunity is suitable for an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with professional experience gained within Local Government.
Duties may include:
Representing the council on Public Law Children Act matters
Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings
Advising at LPM and PLO meetings
Performing own advocacy to include contested and final hearings
Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare law
An hourly rate of up to £50 per hour (Umbrella) is offered for this position.
