JOB TITLE: Litigation Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 6+ Years PQE
LOCATION: Hampshire

OVERVIEW:
• A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to assist with a wide range of construction disputes, acting for both commercial, institutional and private clients.
• Applications are sought from Litigation Solicitors with a minimum of 6 Years’ PQE in construction law, focussing primarily on contentious construction work.
• You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include
o Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of industry-specific and general commercial contracts between the different parties involved in a project.
o Acting for a variety of clients including builders, property developers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, engineers and landowners.
o Liaising and negotiating with civil authorities to obtain planning permission and building approvals.
o Guiding clients through various forms of dispute resolution, up to and including litigation, when contracts are breached, payments are not made, injuries sustained, and other issues arise around the project.
o Advising on health and safety, insurance, liability and environmental matters relating to each project.
o Visiting construction sites and meeting with stakeholders periodically to monitor progress
• Strong technical knowledge and skills are essential
