Planning Lawyer

We are working with a leading international law firm who are looking to add an experienced Planning lawyer to their practice. This role can be based in their Manchester or Leeds office and would suit a lawyer with 0 to 5 years' PQE within Planning law.

The practice is one of largest planning teams in the UK, is very well established and works across a full range of development and infrastructure sectors, including urban regeneration, housing, retail, data centres, industrial and logistics, hotels and leisure, surplus land and energy and infrastructure.

This role will allow you to expand your experience in Planning law under the supervision of market leading lawyers in connection with:

• Major real estate transactions,
• Infrastructure projects,
• Compulsory purchase and compensation matters,
• Planning applications and appeals,
• EIA,
• Highways matters and
• Judicial review.

You will also be working alongside the firm's Real Estate team dealing with multi-million pounds transactions and significant projects acting for some of the largest investors (including institutional investors, private equity and overseas investors), as well as developers and infrastructure companies.

This is an opportunity to become part of this growing practice and fast developing team.
You will work with high profile clients and have plenty of client contact and develop close links with them.

You will be kind of person who enjoys developing successful new relationships, so good interpersonal and consultancy skills are also essential.
