Family Solicitor

A well-established Merseyside firm are looking for a Family Solicitor to join their friendly team.  

Working as part of the firm’s accredited family department, you’ll take over a full caseload of varied matters including public and private children cases, divorces, financial remedy and domestic abuse matters. 

Along with a healthy work-life balance (you’ll be able to work flexibly and from home for part of the week after an initial training period), you’ll receive a competitive salary and enjoy a supportive working environment.

• Working as part of a busy family team, you’ll handle a mixed family caseload, consisting mainly of legal aid matters 
• The firm have an open and supportive working culture and are enthusiastic about helping their lawyers develop their careers 
• Commutable from: Liverpool, The Wirral, Prescott, Warrington, St Helens and Wigan

The ideal candidate 

• A Family Solicitor with 2+ years PQE 
• The work of the firm is predominately legal aid, so you must have an understanding of the legal aid systems and CCMS  
• Will be an excellent communicator 
• Will have very good time management and organisation skills 
• May be on the Law Society Panel 
• A team player who is able to multi-task
