Information Governance Lawyer

Information Governance Lawyer – Full time – 6-month contract – Remote Working offered

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority, who are known for their varied caseloads and personal development, who are recruiting for an Information Governance Lawyer to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment (35 hours per week) and will be offered an initial 6-month contract (with the possibility to extend further) and with the option to be worked on a remote basis.

The rate is £35-40 per hour umbrella, depending on experience.

They are keen to secure the right candidate and are willing to be flexible if necessary.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Information Governance Lawyer to become part of a proactive Local Authority.

The successful candidate will have knowledge surrounding:

• The Freedom of Information Act
• Subject Access Requests
• Security Breaches
• ICO complaints
• DPIAs

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Local Government.
