OVERVIEW:
The Legal Assistant will provide full support to Conveyancing Solicitors, attending to clients’ needs via phone or face to face, administering filing systems inclusive of opening, closing, storage and retrieval, preparing mail, scanning and photocopying and ensuring all post completion checks are finalised. You must have a proven record of working effectively within a similar environment, excellent knowledge and experience of residential conveyancing, confident using a case management system, excellent time management and communication skills and high accuracy and attention to detail.

As a Conveyancing Fee Earner you will be required to manage a caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion; including, sales & purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes and lease extensions. Liaising directly with clients, estate agents and lenders. Developing professional relationships, both with clients and with other potential sources of work. Generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.

Being an experienced New Business Team Assistant, you will be able to provide full support to the firms Head Office, administer files and maintain good relationships with new business introducers. You must have experience within property sales/estate agency, be highly organised, with a desire to progress within the new business department. In return, the firm offer interesting work in a friendly and supportive environment. Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications. Any necessary training is provided. The firm are very well known in the region and have a thriving residential property team. Great role with a well-established legal firm.
