Procurement and Projects Senior Associate
A firm that I have placed with in the last 12 months is looking to add a procurement and projects senior associate to their team in Birmingham.
This is a great opportunity to undertake major and complex projects with a particular focus on local government, but also in other sectors, in particular, education and social housing. The projects entail the key themes of regeneration, investment, commercialisation, and trading, driving social and economic prosperity in the areas that they serve. Their Birmingham office is centrally located with great transport links and parking nearby.
As a Procurement and Projects Senior Associate you will be expected to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
- Support clients in running procurements under a variety of procedures for works, services and/or supplies, lead on negotiations, and, produce innovative and bespoke solutions
- Supervise more junior members of the team and advise where needed on their case loads
- Take an active role in business development and support client retention
As there is a clear path to Partnership from this position, the ideal candidate will be ambitious and technically skilled with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a complex case load.
