Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically experienced Conveyance. This key role will be to assist with the running of the Residential Property department across the firm. With five offices across Wiltshire; Swindon, Chippenham, Royal Wootton Bassett, Marlborough or Devizes, with the option to choose the office you wish to be based out of.

This role has been created to ensure the smooth sailing of the Residential Property department. You will report directly into the Head of Conveyancing and will have five team leaders, one from each office, who will all report to the newly appointed deputy head.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting HOD in setting goals/expectations for the team
  • Supporting HOD in the management of the department and staff performance
  • Assisting with staff engagement, development and support
  • Training new and existing staff members, when required
  • Managing you own small caseload (c.30 files)
  • Taking part in recruitment and onboarding process
  • Standing as acting HOD, when they are on annual leave

Along with a track record of successful people management you must also have great technical ability and be able to assist those on more complex matters.

This is the perfect opportunity for a mid level Conveyancer to gain some fantastic experience. You will learn the strategic developments behind the successes of a Conveyancing department. You will have the full support of the HOD, Managing Partner and HR.

The firm are able to offer £50k - £55k along with a great benefits package that includes a bonus.
