Legal Secretary

A boutique private client law firm is looking for an enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join their team in South Manchester. 

While primarily, you will work closely with and assist senior solicitors, as it is a small firm, you will be expected to help out wherever needed and provide support to all areas of the business.   

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to be part of a friendly, close-knit team and have an integral role within the firm.  

Legal Secretary – South Manchester 

The company & role    

• A specialist private client law firm with a strong focus on providing excellent client care   
• The firm handle high-quality work and often represent high-net-worth individuals   
• You will undertake general administration duties on behalf of senior colleagues    
• You will be expected to take initiative and implement and maintain effective administrative procedures and systems 
• You will also be responsible for dealing with external suppliers and the renewal/negotiation of contracts  
• Commutable from Cheshire, South Manchester, Altrincham, Stockport, Macclesfield, Warrington and Wilmslow

The ideal candidate    

• A forward-thinking Legal Secretary with at least 2 years’ experience   
• A personable and articulate communicator with excellent client care skills and a good telephone manner   
• Will be IT proficient and have experience of using a case management system  
• Will have strong IT, organisational and administrative skills  
• Someone who is confident, friendly and who takes initiative  
• Will be used to thinking about how to cut costs and improve efficiency
