The Opportunity

The Corporate team of this National, highly regarded law firm, consists of 11 partners, 10 associates, 1 trainee, 1 paralegal, 1 practice development lawyer and a high quality secretarial and word processing support team. They are looking to recruit both a junior Solicitor and a Senior Solicitor into this highly regarded team.

The team is Tier 1 ranked by Legal 500 and Band 2 ranked by Chambers & Partners. You will therefore work with some of the best lawyers in the country and gain fantastic experience including all aspects of corporate (transactional and non-transactional), corporate finance and tax advice.

You will have a Career Development plan overseen by a Partner as career progression is key for them and the reputation of their firm. They recruit the best staff and look for future Partners when hiring. You will have the opportunity to carry out business development, to write in industry journals and presenting at seminars.

This is what you will be doing:

Clients include founders and owner-managed entrepreneurial businesses, to companies listed in the UK and overseas, acting for many of the world’s leading marketing communications networks, as well as large independent agencies.

Excitingly, you will act for many cutting-edge tech businesses and high-profile tech investors both inside and outside the UK. Also clients in other sectors including media and entertainment, publishing, manufacturing and engineering, professional services, sport, music, fashion, retail, hospitality and leisure.

You will be encouraged to run your own transactions (with guidance on hand as and when necessary) and to develop your legal knowledge and of course your legal career within one of the top firms in the UK.
