Commercial Contracts Solicitor - Leeds (NQ-2 PQE: Flex/Hybrid)

Your new firm

This firm is developing a strong reputation in the legal sector and has been in growth mode since launching in 2019. They are currently looking to recruit a commercial contracts solicitor in to their busy commercial team to complement their already impressive offering. This opportunity will provide exposure to a broad and varied range of commercial work for a diverse range of clients, which include sectors such as manufacturing, leisure, retail, professional services and IT.

Your new role

You will be working with a Partner who has an outstanding reputation within the legal market for their commercial law work. The type of work and projects that you will work on is broad and scope and will involve, but will not be limited to:

• Commercial contract disputes
• Drafting and advising on various contractual agreements, including confidentiality agreements, manufacturing agreements and agreements for the supply of goods and services
• Advising on commercial joint ventures and franchising
• Advising on various IT, e-commerce and data law contract matters
  

The role will give you good exposure to the work you want to do, giving you a platform to really grow your practice and evolve.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have circa 2 years' PQE, but applications from NQ - 1 PQE candidates will also be considered. Previous experience working with / advising on commercial contracts is essential for this role. You must be passionate about your work and raising the profile of your team and firm. As well as having commercial experience, you must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
