The Isle of Man's General Registry are looking to recruit a proactive and committed Legal Officer within their small and supportive team on their beautiful island. This is a unique role, which offers real variety giving you the opportunity to work across a range of mainly non-criminal legal areas and gain a broad level of experience.

In this role you will undertake ad hoc and more structured legal research for members of the judiciary and provide legal advice to the Chief Registrar and staff of the General Registry.

You will also act as the primary Judicial Conduct Officer under the Code of Conduct for Members of the Judiciary and be responsible for the development, management and coordination of legal research activity and resources with the General Registry.
