Role: Assistant Legal Content Writer - Nationwide

A Leading law firm with offices across UK are seeking a motivated Content Writer Assistant who will ‘hit the ground running’.

Role:

As the Legal Content Writer Assistant you will be required to support the Head of Marketing and Practice Manager in writing legal content for the company website and promotional material.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced Marketing team and deal with all day-to-day marketing and PR related matters. The candidate will be required to work with management to drive the company towards meeting its business objectives.  The company is embarking on a growth by increasing its client base and specialist marketing support will be essential for the next phase of its development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research, commission, write and edit articles for the website
  • Edit and maintain daily content uploads on the website, whilst also updating and modifying old articles.
  • Assist and implement plan for organisation’s internal and external presence, based on management priorities, policy directions, and goals.
  • Keep up to date with the latest changes in the areas of law covered.
  • Assistance with legal directory and award submissions.
  • Drafting press releases and liaising with journalists.
  • Maintain and update advertisements/ create new ads alongside design team.
  • Managing and producing marketing literature.
  • Interact daily on social media platforms.
  • Able to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
  • Collaborate with design team to insure cohesiveness between articles and website.
  • Providing support to the company’s established events, charity and pro bono committees.

The role will involve some occasional travel to other offices in and out of London.
This list is not exhaustive and there may be other duties as reasonably required.

Key Skills Required

  • Educated to degree level with experience within professional services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure. Highly motivated and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Confident using IT software.
