Trainee Lawyer – Litigation and Business Support Team. To assist in the provision of a comprehensive legal service to the Council.

About the role:

Grade 5 (SP 8 - 12) £20,493 - £22,183 P.A. 
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week 
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices, Barry / working from home 
Temporary Reason: fixed for 2 years.

Description:

This post is a two year fixed contract and is suitable for a trainee solicitor and has a wide range of duties to provide a sound and varied footing in all aspects of local government legal work. The post holder will work under the supervision of the Operational Manager Legal Services and such other Principal Lawyer as may be designated, and will take on work in all the specified areas. • Understanding of specific areas of legislative and regulatory framework.
• Ability to prioritise and pay attention to detail.
• Commitment to customer service and satisfaction and performance improvement
