Job Details

One of the largest law firms in Teesside are seeking an additional Family Paralegal to join the team in Hartlepool, due to expansion.  They are a busy and growing highly regarded family team whose work is all publicly funded. You will assist on the full range of publicly funded family matters, including divorce, domestic violence and private law children matters.

Responsibilities will include advising clients, preparing applications, representing at hearings and a commitment to self-developing skills and knowledge in this area. 

They have a large Family Law team and an open door policy which means this is a great opportunity to join a team of Family law specialists who can share their wealth of experience. They are ideally seeking a Family Paralegal with at least 2 years experience, who is able to hit the ground running, though supervision will be provided.

You will need:

  • At least 2 years experience of working as a Paralegal in family law,
  • Experience of handling a caseload of publicly funded family matters essential - divorce, injunctions and private law children matters,
  • High standards of client care and organisational skills. 
  • Good organisational and teamworking skills. 
  • Good IT skills.
