Job Details

Our professional services client is looking to bring on board a junior lawyer or a senior, experienced paralegal to join its London-based team. This role would suit someone with a strong transactional corporate/commercial or finance law background who is confident at liaising with senior members of the business, to focus on European transactions. 

Day to day duties will include:
  • Dealing with agreements such as loan agreements, client contracts and confidentiality agreements
  • Advising the business on commercial and client issues
  • Researching legal/regulatory requirements that apply in other European jurisdictions regarding the organisations' activities, and cooperating with the business's Compliance and Legal Department in this respect
  • Assisting other teams, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
  • Working with and instructing outside counsel on client transactions
  • Advising on trustee requirements in different European jurisdictions 
The ideal candidate will have NQ-3 years' PQE or be a senior, experienced paralegal from a City Law firm or in-house. They will have experience of private syndicated loans, securitisation, secured transactions and an understanding of fund administration. Candidates should be able to work independently and as a part of a team, and will have strong communication and negotiation skills.
