JOB TITLE: Planning and Environment Solicitor

OVERVIEW:
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Solicitor to join a busy team handling a range of planning and environmental law matters. Based in the firm’s Manchester office, you will work with colleagues based across the country on high profile projects advising local authorities, developers and contractors. Your will vary from planning applications, to environmental law advice, through to judicial reviews and other related regulatory issues. It provides you with the chance to really develop your skills and become a specialist within this sought after and highly topical area of law.

THE CANDIDATE:
If you have a real passion for planning and environmental law and would like to progress your career further, then this could be the opportunity for you. Recently qualified Solicitors who can demonstrate experience in these areas of law, or have a track record in advising local government, public sector organisations or regulators are encouraged to apply. It is essential that you have litigation experience and preparing documents for trial, alongside characteristics such as outstanding inter-personal and communication skills, a team player and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
