We are working with the UK division of a global title insurance business, which is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor for a Commercial Underwriting role. This is a great opportunity for a Real Estate Lawyer looking to do something a little different and transition away from the traditional law firm fee earning model. On offer is a really interesting opportunity to try something new, as well as good flexibility and work/life balance. Leeds city centre office location with option for home working.
You will be involved in major commercial property deals across the UK, underwriting high net worth commercial legal indemnity risks. This will involve the review, evaluation, and pricing of cases, aiming to secure the transaction whilst appropriately managing risk. You will work closely with a diverse range of professionals including commercial clients and brokers and will work collaboratively with the sales team to develop these relationships.
The business wants to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor for this role, ideally you will have upwards of 2 years PQE / legal experience and will have worked across a wide range of Commercial Property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant and development work.
This is ideal for a Solicitor looking for something outside of law firm legal practice.
