In House Head of Legal

I'm currently working with a privately owned property investment and development business that manages some of the most interesting and historic commercial and residential properties in the West Midlands area and has been a leading light in the on-going regeneration of Birmingham. They have a fantastic opportunity to lead their legal team, presiding over a caseload primarily focused on commercial property and Landlord & Tenant work.

You will ideally have a background of working at a large corporate / Legal 500 firm and have the experience to manage a wide variety of commercial property transactions such as Heads of Terms, licenses, acquisitions, lease agreements, dilapidations...etc. Some matters will be managed in-house, with the assistance of an existing paralegal, other matters will be conducted by panel solicitors, so the ability to prioritize, delegate work, build strong working relationships internally and with external providers, and manage projects is essential. In addition to your property related responsibilities, you will act as Data Protection Officer and data advisor

You will interact and build relationships with a wide array of individuals, including owners and stakeholders within the business, agents, and panel legal advisors.
