Conveyancing Solicitor - Head of Conveyancing

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a dynamic practice as Head of Conveyancing.

In this position, your responsibilities and salary will increase over time making an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a fast growing firm in a senior capacity, in a role which has on-going development and progression.

The role will focus on the day to day management of the Conveyancing Department. You will initially handle a caseload with Paralegal support and supervise the existing team. The caseload will touch upon all aspects of residential conveyancing and you will use your experience and knowledge to trouble shoot on complex matters. As the department grows you will gradually scale back your caseload to allow you to focus more on management.

The salary on offer is negotiable, dependent on experience and expected to be in the region of £50,000 per annum. The firm offers regular salary reviews and the salary is expected to increase as the team grows and the role evolves. The firm is conveniently situated with free on-site parking.

Applications will be considered from qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers. The essential and desirable candidate criteria are outlined below:

Essential

-       Excellent technical expertise in conveyancing

-       A minimum of five years PQE

-       Experience supervising fee earners or support staff

Desirable

-       Ten years + PQE

-       Experience managing a conveyancing team
