Our client one of the largest law firms in Teesside are seeking an additional Family Paralegal to join the team in Stockton, due to expansion. They are a busy and growing highly regarded family team whose work is all publicly funded. You will assist on the full range of publicly funded family matters, including divorce, domestic violence and private law children matters.

The role

The role will include progressing client matters efficiently and running an independent caseload of family matters. You will advise clients, prepare applications, represent clients at hearings and be committed to self-developing your skills and expertise in this area.

Our client has a large Family team, together with an open-door policy which means this is a great opportunity to join a team of Family law specialists who can share their wealth of experience. They are ideally seeking a Family Paralegal with at least 2 years' experience, who can hit the ground running, though supervision will be provided.

As the newly appointed Paralegal you will need:

*At least 2 years' experience of working as a Paralegal within Family Law- Preferably Legal Aid.

Experience of handling a caseload of publicly funded family matters essential - divorce, injunctions and private law children matters

To possess high standards of client care and organisational skills.

Good organisational and team working skills.

Strong IT skills.
