Procurement Projects Lawyer
Sacco Mann are proud to be working with a top tier Legal 500 recognised Law firm based in Manchester city centre, to recruit a Procurement Projects Lawyer into their successful and growing team.
Our client are ideally looking for an Associate at the 2-4 PQE level to work alongside the Procurement & Projects team underneath two well-regarded Partners in their field.
The ideal candidate will have commercial public procurement experience, but full training can be provided by the firm, so whilst this would be advantageous, it is not essential.
The firm's Manchester office plays a central role in the UK-wide network of offices and is one of the largest and fastest growing law firms in the world. They have a very highly regarded public procurement law team which is ranked for their respectable, pragmatic and risk assessed advice.
In this role, there is a real opportunity to work with international clients, such as insurers, large corporations and public sector bodies covering health and education.
The successful Procurement Projects Lawyer will display legal ability, initiative and confidence in managing a full and varied caseload. Full training will be given to the right candidate looking to become an expert in the growing area of public procurement law.
You will ideally have:
- Some experience of reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, with some public procurement experience
- Some experience of drafting procurement documents and running the tender processes
- The ability to assess commercial and procurement risk in respect of the client
- Some experience of dealing with procurement challenges for either claimant or defendant
- Experience of working in procurement with the NHS
