An experienced Senior Employment Associate Solicitor is wanted for a challenging and rewarding lead opportunity with a highly regarded and top ranked UK law firm. The role will offer that bit more variety than some Employment Law roles, leading a small team of no more than a handful of lawyers you will also manage heavily litigated, often complex claims containing civil litigation elements. Ergo, you should enjoy contentious Employment Law work, claimant or defendant experience is equally valued. Salary is to £70,000 depending on experience with bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.        

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded, niche regional team, part of a larger, top ranked national Employment Law offering. The Senior Associate Employment Solicitor will head a team comprising a handful of lawyers ranging in experience from Associate down to Trainee. The day to day will vary and include the management of a challenging, heavily litigated and often complex caseload that may include Civil Litigation elements. Of equal importance is the line management and continuous professional development of your team. The Senior Associate will also be responsible for the maintaining and development of existing, strong relationships, driving best practice and the highest possible service levels across your team and also creating opportunities to add value, for example producing educational content, delivering presentations and any new ideas you might bring to the table. Reporting to the National Head you will also benefit from the advice of very experienced Senior Employment Lawyers sitting across other teams in the same office.
