Employment Solicitor - Southampton

A well-established UK law firm is seeking to offer an exciting opportunity for a junior Solicitor to join their Employment team based in Southampton.

Working within a team of experienced lawyers with a depth of knowledge across all areas, you will experience a broad and diverse workload. With clients from large corporate entities to SMEs, you will advise on a wide range of matters. These matters include High Court and County Court litigation, high value exit terminations, HR advisory work, boardroom disputes and employment tribunals. The team are committed to providing their clients with an exceptional service, focusing on understanding the client's business objectives and what motivates them. You will be expected to carry out key tasks, such as fulfilling a personal caseload, assisting with marketing and business development, as well as assisting with the coaching and mentoring of junior members of the team.

To be considered for this role you will need to be either a newly qualified solicitor, or a solicitor with up to 2 years PQE. Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment work is required, alongside a keen interest in Employment. You will be expected to foresee your client's requirements with ability to react quickly and provide bespoke advice. In addition to this, enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent knowledge of the tribunal practice and procedure is key.
