Employment Law Associate - Liverpool (with flexibility)

This successful and well-established law firm is looking to appoint a further associate to its Employment Team. The nature of the role is likely to appeal to a solicitor or associate with 2-7 yrs' PQE, and someone who enjoys acting for commercial clients.   The team undertakes its own advocacy where possible, so ideally previous experience or a willingness to conduct hearings and tribunals is required. 

Offering expertise across all areas of employment law, this well-structured and sizeable department attracts high quality instructions. The client base is diverse, both public and private sector organisations.  Many are significant employers and household names.

As well as advising and representing employers in tribunal proceedings, the team also provides support to HR professionals; delivers strategic advice and training; prepares employment documentation and supports on corporate transactions and restructuring projects. 

In this role, you will be managing some excellent quality instructions including:

•    discrimination proceedings including gender, race, religion, disability and pregnancy/maternity issues
•    whistleblowing 
•    unfair dismissal claims
