JOB TITLE: Experienced Family Lawyer

SALARY: £30,000 - £50,000 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
A fiercely sought-after position has become available for a talented Family Lawyer to join this firms well established Family team. The appointed Family Lawyer will have a broad knowledge in all aspects of Family Law, specifically in matrimonial proceedings and financial provision as this will complement the teams existing caseload. The successful Family Lawyer will be responsible for handling their own broad caseload of Family matters to include, divorce, financial matters, domestic violence and abuse, child proceedings and cohabitation disputes. You will have the opportunity to play an active and key role in the future direction of the firm, and in the development and growth of the Family department. Support from a Legal Assistant will be available for the successful Lawyer.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Family Lawyers who will have a self-starting approach to tasks and projects, with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will have gained at least 5+ years’ experience within family law, experience in private children law would be an advantage but this is not essential. The applicant must be committed to providing helpful support and well-informed advice whilst being sympathetic and approachable. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision, good organisational and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
