Practice Manager – Midlands – Permanent – £50,000-£60,000 DOE
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Practice Manager to join a forward thinking Shared Legal Service in the Midlands. This is a permanent opportunity and will be worked on a partially remote basis in line with the organisation’s flexible working policy. The client is seeking someone a on a full-time basis, however alternative working patterns may also be considered.
An all-encompassing role, the successful post-holder will take on a varied range of duties to include managing the firm’s finances and ensure fee-earners are meeting their KPI’s. The role will also include HR and recruitment, legal compliance, administration and facilities management.
Duties may include:
Leading and developing the Finance Team to ensure it provides an excellent, innovative and highly focused service and support to the fee-earning elements of the business and providing a stable financial platform for the firm
Working with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to set budgets and report on performance against budget on a monthly basis
Working with the Finance Manager to manage the activities of the team to include performance, managing workloads and productivity, development and training, recruitment and selection and supervisions and appraisals
Ensuring that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of the team, including compliance with health and safety policy and procedure and to maintain good employment relations within your team
An attractive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 is offered for this position dependant on experience and a number of other benefits are also on offer.
