Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer – Full Time – On going contract

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a successful, busy Local Authority, currently going through a very busy period within a large joint legal service, who are recruiting for a Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment (36 hours), and will be offered for an ongoing contract, with the initial period 3 months and then extended every 3 months thereafter.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Contracts Lawyer to become part of a successful joint legal service Local Authority.

You will need to have prior experience working within Local Government and it is essential you have a current practising certificate, and experience specifically handling:

• Service level contracts
• Construction contracts
• IT contracts
• Public procurement matters including procurement reform
• Governance
• PPNs
• Research as requested in relation to Contracts, Procurement & Information matters

The successful applicant will have a hard-working manner and enthusiastic attitude, as well as excellent technical skills.
