Property Lawyer

Property Lawyer – Initial 3 months – Ongoing basis - Full Time

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority who are known for their excellent team culture, who are recruiting for an Property Lawyer to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment (36 hours per week), with initially 3 months being offered on a rolling basis. The is a remote working role, however the successful candidate will be required to collect the IT equipment in person on the first day.

This a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to become part of a proactive Local Authority. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Local Government and will be able to hit the ground running in this role.

This role does not involve management responsibilities and advocacy.  

Requirements:

• Experience of undertaking a range of Landlord and Tenant matters, title due diligence and acquisitions and disposals with minimum supervision.
• Ability to deal with your own caseload including some complex matters.
• Recent legal experience
