Job Details
This Northeast based in-house legal department is seeking to add a Solicitor to its highly regarded and integral team. You will be joining a fast growing consulting business, operating in the energy sector. Head office is based close to Durham and is within a 30 minute commute of both Sunderland and Newcastle with on site parking available.
The role is extremely varied and will involve a full range of in house legal work but will predominantly focus on litigation. This will include High Court disputes, arbitration and other proceedings arising from high value and complex contractual disputes, and asset recovery.
We would envisage this in-house Solicitor position suiting someone with c. 2-6 years PQE, gained in Commercial Litigation with a law firm or in house team. This is simply given as a guide and applicants who fall outside of this banding but have the requisite knowledge/skills should also get in touch.
This is a rare opportunity for a litigator to transition in house and gain exposure to a range of commercial legal work.
