Are you a Deputy Monitoring Officer with Planning and Regeneration experience? Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity.
A popular Local Authority are seeking an experienced Governance Lawyer to join them at a Principal level on a locum basis for at least 6 months. You will mainly be working remotely, with occasional office attendance for meetings and committees.
The Director of Legal at the council is seeking an experienced and competent Lawyer who can work closely with them and support the legal function by independently handling governance matters including: new constitutional changes; implanting new procedures; member queries and complaints; scrutiny committees; and ideally planning committees also, among other ad hoc duties.
You must have previous local authority governance experience, and the ideal candidate will also have a background in planning and regeneration.
A proactive and enthusiastic Lawyer will very much exceed in this role, and will be instrumental in the future of the council's Legal team.
