Location : Newcastle 
Salary : Circa £42K-£50K DOE 
Full-time Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm 
This role is based on a flexible/hybrid homeworking policy

A super-charged, commercially minded Real Estate Solicitor is wanted for a challenging and rewarding Newcastle based opportunity with a Top Ranking UK law firm. Applications are invited from motivated and driven Real Estate Solicitors with up to 5 years PQE looking to relocate to the North East area and not compromise on the quality of work they are used to. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience with a guidance of £42,000 to £50,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful Real Estate Solicitor will join a highly regarded, multi-award winning Real Estate team working with blue chip commerce, industry and public sector clients; drafting heads of terms, development agreements and associated construction, planning and site disposal matters, freehold transfer and lease acquisition renewals and assignments. As well as managing your own caseload the opportunity will provide an opportunity to support other members of the team and supervise and develop more junior fee earners helping them on their journey.

The Real Estate Solicitor Role

• Manage own caseload of Real Estate cases including for all types of real estate work and also provide corporate support assistance but specifically energy and infrastructure work
• Provide support to other members of the team
• Draft and prepare various real estate documents
• Liaise with internal and external parties, such as colleagues, clients, Land Registry, search agencies etc
• Supervise and develop more junior members of staff as may be required
• Ensure that work produced is to the highest standard
• Manage own time effectively

Key Requirements

• Qualified solicitor 4YRS + PQE
• Currently working as a Real Estate lawyer
• Approachable demeanour in terms of both colleagues and clients
• Excellent IT and typing skills
