Your new role
A newly created Legal Counsel position, reporting into the Head of Legal as part of an expanding team. The role will involve working on typical contracts and risk management issues across the supply chain and defence contracting space. The successful candidate will get to work with exceptional external stakeholder clients across the armed forces and relevant government departments. The successful candidate will need to go through a security clearance process.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK qualified lawyer with 1-5 years' PQE (as a guide), with excellent academics and strong commercial contracts experience. Exposure to the logistics or defence space would be a bonus. The client is looking for the affability, ability and availability to thrive in the role and engage with stakeholders across the organisation. You will need to be ready to drive to defence sites in the UK from time to time to engage with clients.
