Temporary Childcare Lawyer for Local Authority Shared Legal Service in London
Your new company
A London Borough Shared Legal Service looking for a Senior Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your new role
As a Childcare Lawyer for a Local Authority you will be expected to hold a caseload of 8-10 childcare cases in court proceedings. You will be dealing matters including deprivation of liberty applications for children, secure accommodation, adoption and discharge of care matters.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, CILEX or equivalent. You will have knowledge of the law in relation to vulnerable children and adults and in particular child protection, including initiation and conduct of care proceedings and related litigation such as adoption proceedings.
