Your new role
- The team is looking to recruit a mid-level Associate, ideally with 3-6 years' post qualification experience.
- The work will involve predominantly private sector employer work for a wide range of businesses but will also encompass work for, in the main senior level, employees.
- Employment legal knowledge is needed as is a solid understanding of the various IT platforms used to assist in litigation, case management and marketing.
- The role will suit a confident and enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing the best and most efficient possible service to clients.
- Duties will involve: managing employment tribunal cases; conducting some advocacy at employment tribunal hearings; providing day-to-day employment law advice to clients; drafting and reviewing contracts and other employment related documentation; assisting other teams with employment law issues, including corporate support; providing training to clients; and attending networking and marketing events.
What you'll need to succeed
- Current experience in a recognised Employment team or in-house department, with an in-depth knowledge of employment law;
- a pragmatic and research based approach and some business development experience;
- good communication skills;
- outstanding client care;
- organisational skills; and
- an ability to work as a team player.
