The Role:

This top-ranking and award-winning firm are seeking a Construction Associate (Contentious Housing) 2-7 PQE to join their London office.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working at a large firm with an established construction team or housing practice.

This is a unique, exciting chance to join a leading UK Law firm where a lot of the work is international.

You should be able to run contentious construction cases. The principal focus of the role is advising on construction disputes and related development issues, but opportunities to get involved in some non-contentious work, including general advisory work, such as liabilities and rights under contracts, payless notices etc will also be available.

Specification/Summary of requirements:

  • You will be a Construction Disputes Lawyer 2-7 PQE
  • The team is involved in a considerable amount of housing and related fire stopping work at present and so an understanding of the sector and the current fire safety legislation, MHCLG guidance etc would be useful).
  • Having detailed contentious housing construction experience is essential.
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience (you will also receive an industry-leading benefits package)
