Civil Litigation Solicitor

One of the UK's leading commercial insurance law firms with a solid reputation in the market for excellent client service and high-quality work has an opening within its Casualty department in Leicester for a confident and ambitious Solicitor.

You'll be joining an award-winning team, dealing with high quality defendant Casualty claims (Highways Law, Occupiers Liability, Employers Liability and Housing disrepair) on behalf of various local authorities and insurers. You'll be a qualified Solicitor and have experience in dealing with Personal Injury claims and ideally have dealt with local authority work previously. 

Defendant experience is not essential for this role as those from a strong claimant background will be given equal consideration.

You'll be joining a modern and forward-thinking law firm, working out of the commercial offices in central Leicester. You'll handle your own caseload of claims and assist the wider team as and when necessary, on more complex claims. You will be experienced drafting legal research and pleadings and witness statements, preparing cases for trial, attending conferences & Court, liaising with Counsel etc.
