An award-winning personal injury firm in South Manchester is looking to take on a Legal Claims Manager. You will be working alongside and managing a team of New Claims handlers as an initial point of contact for all new clients and carrying out triage of potential new claims. The role is an immediate start for the right candidate. 

Based in one of Greater Manchester’s most popular market towns with offices are close to local transport links, the firm has an excellent location. What’s more, as a result of its flexi-time system, you will be able to fit your work around your other commitments and enjoy a healthy work-life balance.  

This position would suit someone who already works in a similar role or a personal injury solicitor who wants a new challenge away from fee-earning.  

Legal Claims Manager - South Manchester    The company & role  

A specialist personal injury and clinical negligence firm with a solid strategy in place for future growth  

It also has multiple professional accreditations and strong links to the brain injury charity, Headway UK  

Leading a small team, you will capture and assess claims that come into the business, allocate claims to fee-earners and manage clients’ initial experience and expectations  

You’ll also work in collaboration with the Head of Digital Marketing to design and inform effective marketing strategies  

The firm has a vibrant team culture and an active calendar of social events  

Commutable from Manchester, Altrincham, Warrington, Knutsford and Wilmslow

The ideal candidate  

A Legal Claims Manager with 2+ years’ experience or a personal injury solicitor/fee earner with 4+ years' PQE 

Will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills  

Will have some experience working within the Personal Injury sector and/or claims handling would be preferable 

Some weekend work will be required. 

Will have the ability to meet strict deadlines. 

Will have strong leadership qualities  

Will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
