This prestigious international law firm client has a fantastic opportunity for an associate with trade finance experience to join its London office.
The role will involve advising banks and alternative lenders on a range of transactional finance matters, including syndicated and bilateral lending, advising borrowers (mainly commodity traders) on similar transactions, advising on Fintech and digitalisation matters, including commodity exchanges and electronic trading platforms, blockchain, cryptocurrencies and other fintech structures, working closely with the dispute resolution team in relation to defaults and insolvencies in the commodities sector, as well as multijurisdictional advice on cross border transactions or in due diligence or similar exercises.
Most of the work has an international dimension and the new hire can expect to work closely with fee earners in the firm's international offices.
The successful candidate will have 0-4 years of post-qualification experience gained within a highly regarded trade finance practice. Our client will also consider NQs who want to specialise in trade finance. The role requires a strong academic background and a stable career record.
