JOB TITLE: Professional Support – Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: At least 2 years’ PQE
LOCATION: West Midlands

THE ROLE:
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for a fresh challenge with a highly renowned law firm in its West Midlands office taking on a Professional Development role. You will be responsible for researching developments in law and policy relevant to the employment sector, designing and developing training courses on employment law and practice for clients and if appropriate, take responsibility for delivering a programme of courses on topics to be agreed. You will also be responsible for liaising with others in the firm, briefing partners and other lawyers on developments within the industry to assist with their marketing and client care responsibilities.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Employment Solicitor will have a proven track record in advising employer clients, exceptional technical knowledge and a passion for the law. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of the needs of clients in this and will be an experienced presenter and trainer. You will be comfortable in using internal know-how systems to ensure that training materials are easily available to lawyers.
